About
It is a unit that provides communication between the student and the administration and monitors to solve all the students' problems. It works in a student-centered manner. All postal transactions, guidance on health issues, transfer of necessary information about the support they request both inside and outside the university, and their transfer to the relevant points are also carried out by this unit.
Residence Permits
Immigration is necessary for all Turkish and foreign students. If you want more information, you can visit the Student Counseling Coordination office in the Student Services building or click check the TRNC Ministry of Interior website.
It will be done by you through the online application system that has been put into effect by the TRNC Ministry of Interior.
Parcels Service
Students can collect their parcels from Student Counseling Coordination between 02:00 pm-04:30 pm on weekdays.

Guidance Request
Petitions shared by students through their SIS account reach the Student Counseling Coordination office and are carefully examined and transferred to the necessary units as soon as possible. Students can report their problems, requests, and suggestions by choosing Student Counseling Guidance Request from SIS. They can also share their demands and recommendations by visiting the office between 8:00-12:00 in the morning and 14:00-16:00 in the afternoon.
How to write a request online?
- Log in to the system by typing the student number and password on https://sis.ciu.edu.tr.
- After clicking the tab in the upper right corner, click on 'Student' from the tab opened.
- There is a "Petition" tab in the sub-headings that appear.
- A petition can be written by selecting the subject of the petition.
- The files you want to add can be sent by adding them from the "Choose File" section.
- Your petition will be replied to again via "CIU-SIS."
- The response process to the petition depends on the necessary information that needs to be collected from the units. In case of more than 48 hours, you can apply in person by coming to the student services building, student counseling coordination office, or by phone.
