At our campus in Nicosia we have offices and laboratories in the same building as the School of Health Sciences and the Vocational School of Health Sciences. The theoretical knowledge and technical skills of the students are developed by well-known faculty members before going to actual application areas such as hospitals. There are Nursing, Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, Nutrition, and Anthropometry laboratories in our faculty. In these laboratories, students’ skills are developed with simulators, models, tools, and equipment. Our students reinforce their knowledge and skills in advanced hospitals and practice areas during summer internships. Training and implementation opportunities are provided within the framework of bilateral agreements CIU has made with universities abroad. Opportunities are created for our students to work in partnership with Civil Society Organizations. Accreditation studies have also begun in departments where there are graduates. Students can take part in activities during their education in our faculty Health Club and other student communities. Our students have the opportunity to participate in various scientific, social, and cultural events at the national and international level, such as various meetings, workshops, conferences, and symposiums organized by our students and other departments for individual development.
