CIU Student Placement and Scholarship Ranking Exam on May 24th Friday

Cyprus International University (CIU) Student Placement and Scholarship Ranking Exam (ÖYBSS) will be held in a single session on Friday, on May 24th Friday at 10:00am-12:30pm. 
The exam will be held on CIU Campus, as well as in Güzelyurt, and Gazi Mağusa.  All TRNC citizens who have graduated or will be graduating this year, and students who are TR nationals and have completed their 4 year high school education in the TRNC are eligible to apply.
Based on their scores in the Placement Exam, Student candidates have the right to register to one of the 61 Undergraduate and 7 Associate Degree programs offered in the 12 Faculties, 4 Schools and 2 Vocational Schools and be granted scholarships based on their scores.
Based on the contingencies provided, students will have the right to register in all the programs based on their GCE A’Level, GCE AS Level, IGCSE-GCSE O’Level exam results. 
Students who will be placed in associate and undergraduate programs based on the scores they get in  the Student Placement and Scholarship Ranking Exam will have the chance to be granted 100%, 75%, 50% and 25% tuition waiver  scholarships depending on their exam scores. In addition to the scholarships that will be granted based on exam scores, eligible students will also benefit from academic success scholarships, athletic scholarships, alumni scholarships, and sibling discounts.  Turkish Armed Forces, TRNC Security Command and TRNC Police General Directorate Personnel and their children and spouses will also benefit from various scholarships. 
Application deadline is May 23rd 2024 
Students can fill in the application form online at www.ciu.edu.tr/oybss,  or can complete the form and submit it to the Promotion Office on Campus, or they can apply at the CIU stands that will be set up at schools on dates that will be specified in advance.
