NEW TRIAL ACCESS DATABASES
  • AKBES (Academic Information and Education System) has been opened for  trial access until December 30, 2024. It is in Turkish and English, it can provide access to more than 250 certified Personal Development, Professional Development and Academic Development trainings, participate in Live Workshops and Trainings to be held with Academic and Business world for free, and benefit from bilingual (Turkish –English) trainings prepared for academic development. You can start using the registration by registering with the e-mail addresses belonging to the institution.

  • LibraryTürk database is an e-book portal containing 50+ publishers and 9100+ current books in 12 different subject headings. Users are members with “edu” extension e-mails and after confirming the incoming activation property, they can access 9174 e-books in the database without the need to use additional proxy and Ip configuration services. Trial access has been opened for our university between 4.10-3.12.2024.

  • With the Online Kütüphane; printed law books (625+) and all issues of law journals in 11 different titles (900+) with copyrights belonging to Legal Publishing can be accessed online in digital versions that look exactly the same as printed ones. Click to access.

  • With Legalbank; case law (3.500.000+) (Supreme Court, Council of State, BAM, BIM, etc.) legislation (53.000 +) (Law, Decree law, CBK, Regulation, Communiqué, etc.) academic and practical articles (42.000 +), theses (14.800 + ) petitions and documents (4.000+) justifications (400 +) can be accessed online.

  • Hukuk Türk database with 50,000 new contents added in October/ 2023, approximately 350,000 bibliographies from 1928 to the present cover basic fields such as international relations, economics, business administration, political sciences, economics and public administration, especially law, and 70% of them can be accessed in full text. In addition, as of December / 2023, Regional Court of Justice Decisions, Commercial Court of First Instance Decisions, and Intellectual and Industrial Property Court Decisions have been added to HukukTürk, covering approximately 400,000 decisions. Trial access has been opened for our university until 31.12.2024.

  • AMBOSS, developed by doctors in 2012, is a comprehensive digital resource with an interactive library of 20,000+ medical topics and a Question Bank with over 6,000 clinical case-based questions. It is widely used by students, educators, and physicians to achieve their learning goals and has been integrated into medical school curriculums. Our university has trial access to AMBOSS  from 1 November until December 31, 2024. Register with your corporate email to start using it.

  • Turcademy has launched a new AI-enhanced version of its platform to improve academic research, offering a free trial from November 6, 2024, to December 6, 2024. This update provides access to over 12,000 electronic works from leading Turkish academic publishers like Nobel Tıp kitabveleri, Palme Yayınevi, Seçkin. The platform covers fields such as Natural Sciences, Fine Arts, Law, Cultural Publications, Engineering Sciences, Health Sciences, Social and Human Sciences, and University Publications. These advancements aim to enhance education quality and research efficiency. Contact library@ciu.edu.tr for support.
